About Metabolic Health Solutions
Metabolic Health Solutions (MHS) is an integrated medical technology and digital health company, commercialising low cost, metabolic measurement technology to clinically manage obesity, Type 2 Diabetes (T2DM) and other common metabolic disorders. MHS currently has CE, TGA and HSA Certification for its lead technology ECAL, and have early commercial activities in 8 Countries in Europe and Asia, including wholly owned and partner clinics. Through our clinics and international research programmes we are building an evidence-based data set of the efficacy of indirect calorimetry in a clinical setting to better manage obesity and weight-related chronic disease. We are building this knowledge into a digital health platform ENABLE, that will allow health systems and individual practitioners to benefit from this evidence informed data led metabolic lifestyle approach. The large de-identified data footprint will use machine learning and expert analysis to support enhanced care and develop effective clinical and health economic models to reverse this global epidemic of metabolic disease.
Project Overview: ENABLE Metabolic Health Expert Browser
Genetic & micobiome based approaches to personalise metabolic health and obesity management have been disappointing in research and practice. MHS believes (and has demonstrated) that judicious metabolic measurement offers the solution to the personalisation of lifestyle needed to tackle metabolic disease. It has a proprietary design for a system to clinically deliver that called ENABLE. A key part of this system is the concept of the Expert Browser which interfaces between experts, our metabolic data set, published evidence, and clinicians. MHS seeks a multidisciplinary team of researchers to leverage it's existing clinical know how, existing and emerging published research, and the data set from its own clinics and collaborative partners around the world, to produce a feasible design for this element of its cutting edge digital health system. The ideal multidisciplinary team members will be open-minded, metabolism and biochemistry savvy, and will delight in cleverly using data and research to facilitate clinicians to achieve demonstrable evidence-based clinical outcomes to a seemingly intractable global problem. Key project deliverables are a feasible design and the generation of new intellectual property.
